Clay is an amazing material. It's strong enough to build houses, yet delicate to create porcelain figurines.

Everyone​ can be a ceramic artist and with a little help you can make beautiful ceramics. 

​

Online classes are designed to learn pottery at your own place. To be able to interact in real time we will use Zoom platform. 

 

There are various projects available, each one showing different hand-building technique for shaping the clay. There are projects suitable for adults, children and families.   

​

I will provide clay, technical guidance and firing service. 

​

You will need to collect some everyday use things to create DIY pottery tools:

 

for creating a clay area: small wooden board, flexible mat, or newspaper  

for cutting clay: wire, fishing rod, wooden skewer, metal pin, or old knife 

for scoring clay: old toothbrush, old hard painting brush, old plastic credit card, small fork, or old comb

for rolling clay: rolling pin, or bottle 

for making patterns: corks, screws, shells, plants any other objects ...be creative!

for designing and making paper patterns: paper, scissors, pencil

WHAT ABOUT CLAY ?  Each participant will be contacted individually how to organise either clay pick up or clay delivery. 

 

HOW DO I ENTER THE CLASS?  The individual instruction will be provided via email. 

 

WHAT ABOUT FIRING SERVICE?   There are going to be designated days for individual drop off and collection to meet our kiln firing dates.
